The Quilt Show 2012: A Collection from the Community
We
are excited to once again host The Quilt Show! When we last hosted one
in December 2010, we were overwhelmed with the turn out, history, and
styles of the quilts. We had a coverlet from the 1860s and quilts from
the 1920s-2010. Just like the 2010 Show, this show will also feature
quilts from the community.
The show
runs November 16 - December 28, and the Opening Reception will be
Friday, November 30 from 6:30-8:30pm. The show is sponsored by: Marie Elizabeth Preston.

The Tour of Homes 2012
The Monroe Art Guild is gearing up for our annual Tour of Homes. This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!
The
Tour consists of a Candlelight Tour (Friday night from 4:00-8:00pm) and a
Day Tour (Saturday from 11am-4pm). Ticket prices are $15 and are good
for both days.
Tickets can be purchased from Carmichael Drugs and the Monroe Art Guild.
