Praise for Our Art Teachers

Young artists seems to enjoy an endless flow of creativity. Their ideas might be inspired by everyday objects or familiar people, animals and settings, or even make-believe scenes visited only in their minds. You can see it in the work by our Walton County students on display in the Guild.

But student creativity often takes shape and seems to truly blossom under the guidance of inspired art teachers – the art teacher who seeks out creative projects and new materials to try – the art teacher who inspires ideas and pushes his/her students to think differently – the art teacher who provides constructive feedback in a way that inspires his/her students to strengthen their techniques – the art teacher who tirelessly shares his/her own time and talent with the intent of shaping new artists.

The Monroe Art Guild recognizes and thanks the following art teachers for giving so much of themselves to our children, and for putting together such an amazing Student Show for our community:
